Maude L. King

	Maude L. King, 70, of Tamaroa, passed away at 4:42 a.m. Thursday, October 12, 2000 at her residence.
	Maude was a homemaker and had worked as a waitress at Emling Cafe in DuQuoin for 18 years.  She was of the Pentecostal faith.
	She was born January 29, 1930 at St. Johns, the daughter of Carl Jones Sr. and Pearl Elders Jones.  She married Orville Harris in 1946 at Tamaroa and he preceded her in death in 1988.  She married Kenny King in 1972 at DuQuoin and he preceded her in death in 1985.
	She is survived by two daughter- Loretta L. West of Tamaroa, Carolyn K. Copus and husband Darrel of Tamaroa; three sons-Raymond O. Harris and wife Bonita of Royalton, James Richard Harris and wife Sue of Tamaroa, Greg Harris and wife Wallie of DuQuoin, one sister- Josephine Lamb of DuQuoin, two brothers- Carl and Clarence Jones, both of DuQuoin, 19 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
	She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother, one granddaughter, one grandson and one great-grandson.
	Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 14 at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa with Rev. Jackie Davison and Rev. C.L. McKinnies officiating.
	Friends called from 5 until 8 p.m. Friday at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa.
	Interment was in the Antioch Cemetery at Tamaroa.
	Friends may make memorials to the Perry County Hospice.
